One Final Drink

to whom does this feather fall,
flying overhead she looks.
ahead in the distance he bows and circles back.
swooping down for one final drink.

wingtip brushing through.
she turns to watch as his claws tear the flesh
blood drips as he soars.
higher and higher he disappears into the peaks

this gift, this medicine!
her heart races as she runs
he left it for me! he left it for me! she thinks
she stops dead in her tracks

turns around and bows deep and low
raises her arms and spreads her wings
jumps into the air and soars into the clouds.
circles around and dives straight down

she turns to look. her wings, slick.
feathers rustling in the wind, a deep brown.
she see's one feather fall to the ground
she bows and circles back around to see where it fell

he reaches down and picks it up
kneeling he catches her gaze.
eyes lock. flames ignite.
she swoops down for one final drink...

The City Dog and the Country Dog

returning to the memoryform of our past experienced state
and the city dog and the country dog
as daylight creeps in through the unopened curtain,
the flow of night slips between the fingers of those
still lingering in the midst of the inbetween.

to the right she looks... she gazes...
to the left he opens the door into the world beyond thought, beyond dream
she slowly steps in and through,
she feels...

calmness, quietude, bliss, in the verge of ecstasy,
the presence encompassing and surrounding her entity of being
overwhelming all of her senses,
beyond the realms of experience unto this moment.

states of extraordinary opening
bliss,
ecstasy,
pleasure,
to the untamed entranced,
to the moment…

This is a taste,
a dropper sized sample,
a granule of the possible.

stepping back in and through,
it is like flowing between oil and water.
the layers palpable, yet so smooth the transition.

broader this perception grows,
through bit part moments of experiential enlightenment,
through bit part moments of being the presence of flow.

slowly as time evolves the self, the flow of the in-between heightens.
the perception broadens.
experience becomes a dance of the unknown becoming known.
the entrainment to the collective becoming quieter, clearer, not so spontaneous,
becoming a chosen moment: the plug-in.

we can show people the doorway,
we can even walk them through the door,
hands held, minds converged,
once they've been
it is often not chosen to go back fully.
parts seem to always remain,
as the caller, as the beacon,
find me again,
the memoryform calls...

once been, forever changed,
the baby's first breath
it most often chooses another...
moment of extreme ecstasy,
so strong is the flow, so wonder filled,
yet so unimaginably different from where it has come.

imagine the change the shift as the baby first opens its eyes,
first senses the physical being,
what a different form
what unimaginable thoughtforms.
cocooning for 9months, then bursting forth the baby blossom.

this is always how it is,
transition...

from one form to the next,
ever-changing, everlasting,
evolving, emerging.
consciousness from one flow the next,

the body is the cocoon of the spirit,
the body is the vessel for change,
the awareness of form shifting and reshaping.
into the new evolutionary cycle.
none shall pass into the realms of the light but through me...
not through
me,
through
the body, the physical cocoon,
the 3D body occupied by the one who is reading this.

it is through the body that we flow into and through and out the other side,
the body is the wormhole for the dimensions.
to change to evolve to transform,
to step in and through and beyond the realms of the imagined.

So we are beginning to emerge from our cocoons as a collective species,
as a planetary organism,
as a galactic community,
our beaks are poking out of the shell,
the vessel as it has been known for the last cycle is coming to completion,
we have congealed and coagulated and restructured and reformed.

it is now time to spread our wings, let them dry and then take our first breath of flight.

these next two years are about drying and unraveling and unwrinkling our new form, our new awareness.  recognizing our new form, our new being.  we have stepped fully out of the larva body and the shell is standing behind us.

i invite you to look at yourself with new eyes, and see your new Being!!!
i invite you to look out of your new eyes and see the new world around you!!!
i invite you to try things that you have always wanted to try, experiment with your new found freedom to be your new self.
try experiencing yourself beyond the body, through the body, in the body, how has your inner dialogue changed?
can you communicate without speaking? can you feel others thoughts? can you communicate telepathically with those around you,  are your sensitivities to others emotions and feelings heightened? are you finding more and more syncronicity surrounding your experience? more coincidence? desires and intents coming to you faster and faster?

we are all emerging we are all blossoming, we are all taking our first breaths,
welcome to the new evolutionary cycle!

here all things are possible,
teleportation,
telepathy,
miracles,
instant manifestation is a possibility if you are ready.
how far are you willing to experiment,
how far are you willing to test your new boundaries?

there was a dog story that i have always thought interesting.
there was a dog, who lived in a small apartment in the city.
the dog grew up in the tiny apartment
and became an adult in the tiny apartment,
when his owner took him outside to go to the bathroom,
he was always on a leash, and never allowed to run free.
as the dog was getting older,
the owner was invited to go camping with his friends.
he took his dog with him.

when they got into the woods where there were no leash laws, and no confinements of other people or manmade structures,
the owner let the dog off it's leash.
to the owners friends surprise, and to the owners surprise, the dog would not go further than 15 feet away from his owner...
it never had before.

in the vastness of the woods,
the multitude of squirrels and rabbits to run and play and chase after,
the dog never left his owners 15 ft proximity...
it never had before.

when the group went for a walk in the woods the dog went with,
without a leash,
yet it stayed within 15 feet at all times never venturing off into the unknown.
it never had before.
two days later a friend from the country showed up to camp with them.
he also brought his dog.
his dog was used to roaming and the freedom of the country.
when the city dog saw this other dog running and bounding through the woods with joy and ecstasy, chasing after squirrels and bunnies,
at first it looked at the dog with awe and wonder.
look at him, he is in bliss and full of joy, he is not bound to the proximity of his owner as i am.  he must be different than i, he must be special. (the enlightened one he thinks :) )

then as they would all go on walks together, the country dog bounding ahead and through the woods on all sides ever encouraging the city dog to join in the romp, slowly the city dog would step one step further away from his owner, and his own perceived boundary, his own perceived limitation. with each step more and more joy filled his heart, his being.  freedom at last.  i must be on the path to enlightenment!

"no! says the country dog laughing. this is not enlightenment, hehe, who ever thought of that word must have been a 'starbelly', this is how we are made to be, we are made to roam free in the woods, to chase after squirrels and to jump into the river.  you are no different than i, and i am not enlightened, i am just being my normal dog self to the potential that i have experienced."
as you are experiencing these new ways of being you are realizing more and more and becoming aware of your potential of who you really are. a dog!

and this is how one friend took the other by the hand and shared with him a mind expanding experience. i went a little farther than the story actually goes, but do you get it?

those who have come before us were not special, they were not being something we are not and can not experience. they were showing us by their living example what it means to be human, and the possibilities of what it means to step one step further and many steps further outside the bounds of what we perceive as being possible.

to be human does not mean that we are confined to this physical body.
to be human does not mean that we are confined to these thoughts in this mind.
to be human means to be a part of a greater whole of Being,
to be fluid within the body and out of the body,
to perceive energies and systems within and without of the body, that are beyond the perception of the social norm of what the body 'is'.
to realize that as a part of the larger collective we can tap into that collective, and experience ourselves as any aspect of that collective.
to realize that humans are not the only conscious beings in the universes, to realize that there are infinite consciousnesses residing at different dimensional frequencies and we can communicate with them all!
realizing that there is no other that is more or less than, greater or weaker than, seen as higher or lower, in the realms of awareness.
we all have conscious choice and conscious awareness.
if we can understand what that means, than we can experience this, than we can shift and change and expand, and step fully out of our shell.

those who have come before, have come to be the wayshower, to record the experiential knowing into the memory of the global mind.
all have the ability to tap into that memoryform, and return to that once experienced state of being, or go beyond and create a new memoryform!

what you are doing in this moment,
being the memoryform of your past self,
embodied in the moment.
fully present who you are, as you are.
if that makes sense,
i encourage you now to step out and beyond and through!

peace and love,
alan

Masters of the Forest

Hmmmmm…
ponderings from the daily life of a wandering nomad...
have you ever wondered where it is that you are actually going?
i mean you seem to be on a great path, beautiful, along the side of the mountain overlooking the clouds... you look down and see the birds flying below you.  the path ahead of you is just a single track gouge in the earth beaten down from many others who have followed a similar journey...

as you're walking blissfully, enjoying the ever-changing moment, you notice the clouds doing some sort of wispy dance for your imagination.  more like a subconscious queue to veer off the path onto a random deer trial.  of course you follow it.  never knowing what you might find.  those are always the best trails in my experience, they take you right to the heart of the forest, you meet the most amazing wildlife and see the most amazing creatures.

as you follow the deer path it ziggs and zaggs all throughout the forest. knowing you will never get lost, you follow it for hours and then it suddenly disappears.  seemingly a wildlife dead end... where did this path take you?   so you step off the path and start blazing your own trail through the brush and trees.  sometimes when it's really thick brush it's best to crawl underneath the foliage rather than muscle your way through,  sneaking under and around the many different forms of plant life.

by this time it's late afternoon and the sun has gone over the mountainside, and shadows are falling, awakening the hungry creatures of the night.  these are the places where you see the most magnificent forest animals.  natures prized possessions.  they only come out when they know they are safe. and you got to share a moment with them.  a huge giant buck jumps over the thicket twenty yards away, and then sees you and stops dead in his tracks... this is the biggest thing i have ever seen, his rack was enormous.  the biggest mule deer i have ever laid eyes on.  i knew he was a smart one, who never took any chances... we shared a moment though him and i.  stuck on each others gaze.  blending almost melding together.  feeling his strength and command come over me.  he is definitely a wise sage... after a few minutes of this he then bowed and bounced away down the mountain and off into the deeper denser wood down into the valley below.

so of course that is the direction i was to go.  running now, down the hill, sort of hopping, or bounding, or leaping down the mountain.  one jump takes me fifteen feet or so down the steep incline or more.  building up speed i get more distance in between strides.  i begin to slow down and stop and when i do i see the master again. this time he is not alone...  he has a friend.  a trusty sidekick.  just as big as he, and just as enormous of a rack.  complete silence between us... complete silence in the forest.  just an incredibly intent gaze between them and me.  then a rustle of wind in the trees.  slowly they take a few steps toward me... and i do the same...  the energy shared in this moment is incomprehensible.  the most peaceful calm moment.  not a care or worry in the world.  just complete peace and tranquility.

they shared with me a moment in time.  they shared with me what it takes to stand out from the crowd.  to be the survivor.  to be a warrior.  these two magnificent animals have outlasted 99.9% of their population. the rest fell to starvation, hunters, predators, etc.  but these two, they stood the test of time.  and with me they shared a moment.  it was a gift to me although they said i was their gift to them.

it was because i chose to venture off the beaten path, to venture off all paths. into the unknown vastness of the wilderness.  i found them or rather they found me…

sometimes when we step off the path into the unknown we have no idea what lies ahead of us.  there may be deep canyons or ravines, or steep scree fields, or sandstone slicks,  or thorns and prickers like you wont believe,  but what we find beyond those things and even in the midst of those things are the true essence of nature, the true essence of what it means to be completely free of the world.  beauty like you would not believe, peace and quiet, balance in the natural world. that you can never find around another human being.  a world of self and selflessness all in one blissful moment.  the most pristine skylines, the most beautiful smelling air.  the most beautiful sounds of nature.  these are the gifts of the wandering nomad.  gifts of the earth to the earth shared in a timeless moment.  these are the things that make you stop and say "thank you for this beautiful earth, and this beautiful air, and this beautiful sky.  thank you for my eyes and my ears for seeing this and hearing this.  thank you for my body, for allowing me to find this place, and thank you for my courage to step off the beaten path and wander upon this most amazing place.  and thank you for the two wise ones for greeting me when i arrived here... welcoming me to their home...

now that i've moved to the city. i have been finding myself in similar situations… wandering into the thicket of the city, taking the less beaten path, finding tranquility in the midst of the chaos around me.  finding the tranquility in the midst of the chaos around me.  it's just that i'm not used to the prickers and the challenges of city life.  yet i know that in the midst of those challenging moments bursts forth moments of immense clarity, of blissful peace, and also those who catch your glance for a timeless moment in eternity.

i'm seeing a shift in my awareness to allow myself to blend into the city as i do in nature.  challenging at times? of course… do i want to run away at times?  of course… although i know that what i'm experiencing is the same only different from when my two wise masters met me in the forest. they just come in different shapes and forms in the city.  it is the knowing that i get when we exchange those glances that we know that yes this is it.  this is why i ventured this vast distance through the thicket.  wandering nomadically through the thickets of the city,  when we catch each others glance.  almost magnetic you are.  communicating much, saying nothing.  yes this is the right path, even though i have long since stepped off the trail.
